Growing up in the Bronx with four siblings, Dr. Ken was taught that family was the most important part of life. They taught him to work hard, care about people, love life and enjoy all the happiness the world has to offer. These are the lessons he brought to his studies at American University and then in his research at the FDA, which preceded attending Dental School at NYU. After moving to Connecticut and taking over Dr. Fischer’s practice in Stratford, Dr. Ken became involved in various Dental Associations in the area and continued to find ways to be a part of his new community. He continues to take courses regularly and stay abreast of new developments in dentistry, always staying true to himself and stressing the importance of relationships. He gets to know his patients, their families, their interests, and he is able to set them at ease so that they enjoy walking into the office each time they visit. Dr. Ken has a wealth of experience and enthusiasm and continues to find great happiness in the work that he does everyday.
My family was a big influence on me and helped me be the man, husband, grandfather, and dentist that I am today. I fell in love with my wife in my first year of dental school- it was love at first sight when we met on a blind date. Soon after I graduated we moved up to Stratford, CT where I’ve practiced for over 40 years. During that time I have watched my three children grow up to become outstanding adults. They are all married, and I now have 5 grandkids whom I absolutely adore! It is such a privilege to work side by side with my son and as you can imagine, I couldn’t be more proud.”
